My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This volume didn't really have any action in it, and because of this it took me way longer to read than the last one did. It evened out to be how long manga usually takes me to read, but possibly even slower because there was kind of a lot of explanations. This wasn't too bad though.
This volume showed what goes on in between the big fights, during the sleuthing and planning stages. It was cool to see what the CCG investigators were up to as well as the ghouls. That has always been an interesting aspect of this story, how there's no clear-cut good or evil side. We see both sides, and both think that what they're doing is what's right.
Amon's new partner finally got introduced, which was nice. I can't wait to see their relationship progress more. Future spoilers: (view spoiler) Also...... Amon is surprisingly attractive in the manga. I don't remember having these feelings when I watched the anime. But man, he's some eye candy. The woman on the cover (don't worry, I know who she is, I'm just trying to be vague to avoid spoilers) is also super pretty, which makes this one of my favourite covers.

(This is the back cover with Amon on it.)
I'm going to talk about some more things that actually happened. (view spoiler)
Good stuff. I enjoyed this more than the previous volume.
