My rating: 2 of 5 stars
Two stars, yup. This book was preeettty okay. I was hoping this book would be really relatable and whatever, because I am a shy bean, but it never really felt like that. Charlie was a really weirdly immature high schooler, and his writing made his thought-process seem very much younger than his actual age level. I’ve also just been reading too much young adult contemporary lately and they all have the same cliches over and over again. I put myself in line for a million audiobooks from my library, and all the ones that open up for me to finally listen to are all these similar books, so it’s kind of my fault for picking these books but at the same time it’s not. Whatever. Again. I don’t even care about this book that much to write anything more.
