On the very first page of this volume is a note from Horikoshi (the author) basically saying that this volume is going to be super depressing. I gotta say that that wasn’t a super cheery note to start the volume off on, so I was quite cautious going into this. But literally the second page of the first chapter is fricken hillarious and it doesn’t let up from there, the laughs just keep coming. And having now finished reading this volume, I’m left really confused about what Horikoshi was on about, because it was a regular great and action-packed volume. If anything, the only thing that I’m actually kind of worried about is what happened on the very last page.

Ugh this series is so soul-destroying how it consistently ends chapters and volumes with cliffhangers. It’s also sad how this volume doesn't have a hero advertisement on the back cover. :( Those are my favourite part of the volumes (along with the bonus content on the inside, which were still present, god bless).
