My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was actually really good. Probably the best one in the trilogy. So much happened, my god.
This took me aproximately 10 years to read because I guess I was in a reading slump of sorts. Every second I wasn't doing school work I would just do other things that did not include reading (besides manga smh). I read this book 99% at school during free-reading in English class, and then finished off the last ~15 pages just now.
I was also just not very invested in this series at all when I started reading it. There was nothing really even motivating me to pick it up outside of class. I was super over this whole series. Near the middle though I started to realize that this story is actually kinda epic, and I started apreciating it again.
A lot of things go down in this book. It's actually so much that it's kind of weird because it happens in a span of like two days. So that was kind of weird. I was reading and it had felt like weeks had passed and that all their friends had clearly already been killed by then, but then they'd mention it had been like less than a day. What!? So yeah that was odd.
The ending was quite good I'd say. Quite good. Yes. I thought it would go in one direction but then in went in another, and I always like to be surprised. Anyway, whether you guess the end or not it's still a satisfying end which was just great.
