My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was a pretty good book indeed! I would have never even picked it up had it not been 50% off online, but I'm happy I did. It was fast paced and I found myself liking characters I know I usually wouldn't, which was nice.
I also really liked Dorothy. I always appreciate characters that know how to properly present themselves and are proper, formal, and well dressed individuals. I also tend to be a fan of, ahem, assholes. (Eg. Rarity from MLP: FiM, Lars from Steven Universe, Aomine from Kuroko's Basketball, Oikawa from Haikyuu!!, Eridan from Homestuck, and Horace from Miss Peregrine's. All of these ended up being my favourite characters in their respective series.) Dorothy is as such! Her downfall is of course her deranged personally, mind, and actions.
The characters all had interesting designs, and I found myself eager to draw them in my Sketchbook, which I did. (12 to be exact.) I have never felt this to such an extent before!
Anyway, 4/5 stars because it was enjoyable, I recommended it to several of my friends, but there wasn't an extreme 'wow!' that I need to rate something 5/5.
Edit: Screw it, I'm bumping this baby up to five stars! This book was awesome and I really enjoyed it.
Edit 2: Due to personal reasons I will not be continuing on with this series.
